No market or price advice

Where we discuss market conditions, arrivals, seasonality or price movement, we are describing our own reading of the trade at a point in time. Agricultural commodity markets are volatile and are affected by weather, crop outcomes, government policy, import and export decisions and factors outside anyone’s control. Nothing we publish is a forecast, and you should not make procurement or trading decisions on the basis of it alone.

Prices are not published here

We do not publish prices on this website. Any price is given in a written quotation against a specific commodity, grade, quantity, delivery location and validity period. A price quoted for one lot does not carry over to another.

Specifications are lot-specific

Grade, moisture, foreign matter, size and other quality parameters differ between lots and across the season. Specifications discussed in general terms on this website are not a warranty in respect of any particular consignment. Quality terms for a supply are those recorded in the quotation and purchase order for that supply.

Certain photographs on this website are illustrative and depict the general nature of the commodity or the trade rather than a specific lot held or offered by us.
