This policy explains what information Kalya Trading (“we”, “us”) collects when you use kalyatrading.com, why we collect it, who it is shared with, and what rights you have over it. It is written to align with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made under it.

Who we are

Kalya Trading is a proprietorship firm engaged in agricultural commodity sourcing and bulk supply, operating from a mandi office in Kota, Rajasthan, and registered under GSTIN 08ABGPG8887N1ZR. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Kalya Trading is the Data Fiduciary in respect of the information described below.

Information we collect

Information you give us directly

When you submit the enquiry form on our website, we collect the fields you complete:

• Your full name
• Your company or organisation
• The commodity and volume you are enquiring about
• Your business email address
• Your phone or WhatsApp number
• Your delivery destination (city and state)
• Any specifications or notes you choose to add

We also receive whatever you choose to send us if you contact us by email, telephone or WhatsApp instead of using the form.

Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used. This records technical and behavioural information such as approximate location (city level, derived from IP address), device and browser type, the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, and interactions such as clicking a commodity card, using the volume estimator, or tapping a call, email or WhatsApp link.

We do not attempt to identify individual visitors from analytics data, and we do not combine it with the details you submit through the enquiry form.

Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and discuss your requirement
• To prepare and send quotations
• To source, supply and deliver commodities you order, and to raise GST-compliant invoices
• To maintain the books, records and tax documentation required of us under Indian law
• To understand which parts of our website are useful and improve them

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with other traders, brokers or marketers. We do not use it to send you unsolicited marketing about unrelated products.

Who your information is shared with

Running the website necessarily involves a small number of service providers. Some of these process data outside India.

We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law, by a court, or by a government or tax authority.

Cookies

The website itself does not set cookies for advertising or tracking across other sites. Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish one visit from another and to measure sessions.

You can block or delete these through your browser settings, or install Google’s official opt-out browser add-on. Blocking them will not affect your ability to browse the site or submit an enquiry.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as we are in commercial discussion with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you return to us. Where a transaction takes place, invoices and related records are retained for the periods required under Indian tax and accounting law. Analytics data is retained according to the retention period set in our Google Analytics property.

If you ask us to delete your enquiry and there is no transaction or legal obligation requiring us to keep it, we will do so.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may:

• Ask what personal data of yours we hold and how it is being used
• Ask us to correct anything inaccurate or incomplete
• Ask us to erase your data, where we are not required to retain it
• Withdraw consent you have previously given
• Raise a grievance about how we have handled your data
• Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity

This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data of anyone under 18 years of age. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The website is served over HTTPS and enquiries are transmitted over an encrypted connection. Access to the email account receiving enquiries is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
